From Prestwick Airport By Train
Glasgow Prestwick is the only airport in Scotland served by its own railway station which is accessible by a covered walkway to/from the airport.
From here you can travel 3 stops to Ayr Station, which is a 6 minute journey from Glasgow Prestwick International Airport Railway station. You will be able to take a 5 minute taxi directly to our front door.
Alternatively if you prefer to take a taxi directly from Prestwick International Airport, then it is a 15 minute taxi ride to the Horizon Hotel.
From the Airport trains run to and from Glasgow every 30 minutes and the journey takes about 35 minutes.
By Bus
The service runs from 07:35 to 23:30 Monday – Saturday, 09:05 to 19:05 on Sunday from Glasgow and from 06:39 to 20:34 Monday – Saturday, 08:10 to 18:10 on Sunday from the Airport.
Passengers who require to check in early in the morning or arrive on late evening flights may use the X99/X100 airport express bus service between the Airport, Glasgow and Ayr. Please call 08712 222 883 for more information.
