“One of the Best”

Having being transferred from another Hotel in the area due to overbooking, we were pleasantly supprised by the Horizon Hotel. Only problem we had was the room, we were in room 4 which unfortunately only had a view of a brick wall through a (bathroom style) window, no other rooms available. Apart from that the Hotel was exceptional, clean, tidy, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was exceptional with excellent service. We would definitely consider coming back to the Horizon Hotel in the future, in a different room though.

“One night stay in Ayr”

Great beach setting but pity it was windy, raining and cold.

Room was great and well priced and had excellent view from level one. I would say that the view from ground level is ok though. Nice clean dinning room, lounge and bar facilities.

Dinner in the restaurant was great, excellent food. Breakfast was ok, eggs are not free range though if you look that sort of thing. Staff are very friendly. I recommend that it is a great place to stay, close to the sea, great read for the kids too.

“Family Wedding”

My son got married here yesterday (31/7/15) and it was a lovely day from start to finish. The hotel was lovely, very clean and very comfortable. Our room was spotless and spacious for us both. The breakfast this morning was fab with a great choice for all. Thank you to everyone who made our stay worthwhile :)

“Seaside retreat”

have stayed here on numerous occasions and found it to be clean cosy convenient and good value for money,together with an excellent selection of tasty food on the menu. the carpark can be limited at the hotel itself although we have found that the public car park across the road has spaces and is free of charge
