Inn, Lodge or Hotel?
Why would you stay at an Inn or Lodge?
Most of them are located on the outskirts of town, next to busy roads,
with only the usual fast food franchise and the industrial estate for company.
Great if you like the same Pizza in London, Manchester and Glasgow.
Any trip into the local town involves either a long walk or a taxi!
An extra cost to bear in mind when booking.
Most Inns and Lodges are owned by huge companies or venture capitalists,
their only thought is the bottom line. Apart from local rates and a few
housekeeping jobs they contribute nothing to the local economy.
The food is trucked from London and any profit made goes straight to an off shore bank.
